Based on high community demand, and the newly renovated area at North Cove Park, the City of Lake Stevens published a "Request for Proposal" in early 2020 seeking management of a farmers market.

In late February, the City Council voted to award Sarah Dylan Jensen, Director of the Snohomish & Stanwood Farmers Markets the bid - securing quality management and leadership from a well-known market Manager.  Sarah has been a Market Director for over a decade at the Snohomish Farmers Market - producing one of the highest vendor-revenue-generating markets in our state.  It's also the largest farmers market in Snohomish County.

You showed up in a BIG way to support local businesses and farmers for our 6 years and we thank you.  We hope to be back in the future when a better location and/or more supportive City leadership team is in place.
